From time to time, it may be necessary to conduct intensive cleaning of spaces occupied by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Intensive cleaning is conducted out of an abundance of caution whenever an individual reports COVID-19 type symptoms to their immediate supervisor. This cleaning does not indicate that you have been exposed to a person who has COVID-19. You will be contacted by phone by an occupational health nurse if you may have been in close contact with an affected person. Any confirmed cases of COVID-19 on our campuses are reported on the U of T COVID-19 Dashboard.
When this occurs, the Office of Facilities Management and Space Planning sends a notice by email to the Chair, Business Officer and an alternate designated by the Chair of each department that occupies space within that building. They are encouraged to share this information with others as they see fit.
However, to ensure transparency and timeliness, we invite you to sign up to receive these notices too. You will receive notices for events in any building occupied by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.
