Temerty Medicine is proud to join the broader University of Toronto community in the third annual U of T Giving Day. From now until Wednesday, March 26th, join us as we celebrate the power of philanthropy at Temerty Medicine and offer our collective thanks to the many donors whose philanthropic support underpins every aspect of our work.
This U of T Giving Day we're highlighting inclusive excellence. We'll be recognizing Temerty Medicine’s oversized impact on health and health care, and how the difference we make is enhanced even further by our ability to bring together diverse ideas, talent, experiences and perspectives.
Drop by our two Temerty Medicine Giving Day events on March 26th:
- St. George Campus
Medical Sciences Building (MSB) south foyer, near the Starbucks/cafeteria/donor wall
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - *New this year* Mississauga Academy of Medicine
Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex’s Main Floor Lobby
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Both celebrations, which are organized by Temerty Medicine’s Office of Advancement, will be a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and learners while enjoying fun activities (including cookies and buttons!)
U of T Bookstore Giving Day Pop Up in Support of Inclusive Excellence
U of T Bookstore staff will be on site at MSB with a wide variety of Temerty Medicine-branded merchandise for sale. Five per cent of all proceeds from sales of Temerty Medicine swag made between now and March 26th – either at our in-person MSB Giving Day event, the Bookstore's St. George Campus location or online – will be donated to the Dean's Priority Fund.
While contributions to any Temerty Medicine research or education initiative will be celebrated, Giving Day has also unlocked an exciting matching opportunity. New donations made on or before March 26th to Temerty Medicine's Dean's Priority Fund, will be matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $1,000, while matching funds last). All donations will generate a receipt for Canadian tax purposes.
The Dean's Priority Fund supports areas of highest need, helping Temerty Medicine advance health research and education for all learners and faculty members.
