The 1st Annual Leong Centre Symposium
The Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Children is hosting its first annual symposium, “Seizing the Opportunity: Child Health Equity Research in Post-Pandemic Recovery.” Join us in-person at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL) on November 18, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration closes on November 11!
This symposium will reflect on the best ways forward for children and their families in an era of COVID-19 post-pandemic recovery, with a focus on how equitable child health research can be leveraged to drive positive change, especially for marginalized populations.
Through a full day of panels and breakout sessions, academics, practitioners, youth and policymakers from across Canada, the US, the UK and Australia will come together to discuss the role that research should play in addressing equity in children’s health outcomes in an era of pandemic recovery.
