You have received the email from President Gertler informing you of the cancellation of on-site classes. The COVID-19 pandemic is a very fluid situation and I ask you to please read all your emails related to COVID-19 from TRP and the University of Toronto. Up-to-date information can be found on the U of T COVID-19 webpage, please refer to it.
It is our plan to continue to deliver the program. We transferred to virtual classes last week and we will continue this for all our courses. More information will follow as circumstances develop.
If you are a non-licensed (non-MD) learner and doing a project eg capstone, in the hospital and/or community please stop. We are developing guidance about the next steps for you. If this is relevant to you please send me the name(s) of those involved in the project, project title, and the site to where you are going by Monday noon.
If you are an MD and working in the hospital you must follow your institution’s guidance.
The office remains open. If you feel stressed or just want to talk please do not hesitate to contact one of us or the University helplines.
Remember to follow safe practices:
social distancing
washing your hands frequently with soap and water
cough into your arm/sleeve
stay home if you are feeling ill
do not travel
