Resources on Anti-Blackness and Anti-Indigeneity

The Faculty of Medicine's 2020-2025 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan names addressing and dismantling anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism as a top priority. The following are a collection of selected resources which can help to provide some foundational learnings about anti-Blackness and anti-Indigeneity, how they manifest in Canada, and tools of resistance. Anti-racism is lifelong work, and we encourage individuals and institutions to engage in continued research and learning.

*Trigger warning: The following resources contain content that includes anti-Black and anti-Indigenous stories and imagery.*

If you are a Faculty of Medicine staff, learner or faculty member and would like to request a workshop on these topics, or other anti-oppression related material from the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, please fill out an online request form.
