Rockefeller University Professor and leading stem-cell biologist Elaine Fuchs came to the University of Toronto as a visiting speaker for the Training Program in Regenerative Medicine. During her stay, she met up with the Faculty of Medicine’s communications team about her work with stem cells in the skin, how “cancer stem cells” hijack our regular cells, and what she thinks all aspiring scientists need to learn.
