Toronto Anesthesia Symposium
On behalf of the Planning Committee, we are excited to announce that the Toronto Anesthesia Symposium will return in the spring of 2023, including our very popular hands-on workshops on Sunday, April 2nd.
This year’s theme will bring together experts to discuss our current state of practice and the changing landscape of anesthesia Point of Care Ultrasonography (POCUS) as presented by invited and local faculty.
Some highlights include:
- Up to date evidence on benefits and utility of POCUS
- Panel discussion 1 – how to learn POCUS, become a POCUS champion in your hospital, and how to break down barriers to bringing POCUS to your department.
- Panel discussion 2 – “Beyond the OR” – our multidisciplinary panel will discuss the ever-increasing role of POCUS in areas such as the emergency department, ICU and the labour floor.
