Safer Opioid Prescribing
The Fall webinar series for the Safer Opioid Prescribing program runs from September 23 - November 11. This program ensures that physicians and health care providers have the most up to date skills to improve their opioid prescribing and chronic pain management.
It is one of the first educational programs in the country to offer a curriculum that reflects the updated Canadian Guideline for Opioids for Chronic Pain. Additionally, we are pleased to share that this webinar series will be partnered with Saegis, a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
Learn how to develop multi-modal approaches to complex chronic pain and register today! The sessional dates for this fall's series of three webinars are as follows:
1. September 23 - Assessing Complex Chronic Pain
2. October 21 - Prescribing Opioids for Complex Chronic Pain
3. November 11 - Addressing Opioid Challenges and Addiction
*Ensure that you are available all three (3) days. It is required that the webinars be taken in the above order as each is a prerequisite for the next.
The webinar series is followed by a full-day online interactive workshop on December 3, designed to build on the knowledge and expertise from the first three webinars.
