In it's 19th year, the theme for this years’ symposium is Regenerative Medicine: from Discoveries to Therapies and will taking place virtually from Wednesday, April 20 - Thursday, April 21, 2022. The symposium encompasses themes of transplantation, stem cells, repair and regeneration, and translation. 

Who should attend?
The symposium is multi-disciplinary and is targeted towards researchers, clinicians/clinician scientists, and trainees within the transplant and regenerative medicine field. Those with an interest in regenerative medicine should attend.

This annual symposium culminates a national graduate course in regenerative medicine whereby graduate students will present their work in the regenerative medicine field. Three keynote lecturers will speak about their innovations in the field and are as follows:

April 20, 2022:
Dr. Lorenz Studer, Director, Center for Stem Cell Biology, Sloan Kettering Institute
Alison McGuigan, MEng, PhD, Professor in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry and the Institute for Biomedical Engineering, University of Toronto

April 21, 2022:
Jessica Whited, PhD, Assistant Professor, Harvard Stem Cell Institute, Harvard University
