Department of Medicine Story Slam

The Culture and Inclusion portfolio in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto invites you to the sixth annual Story Slam. This year’s theme is What’s On Your Mind? Storytellers may interpret that in any way they wish.

What is a Story Slam?

Story Slams are events that celebrate storytelling. Participants share brief stories (up to 5 minutes) in person with an audience. The Department of Medicine organized similar events in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2024. We are thrilled to announce the return of this popular event in 2025.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 pm, and the event will formally begin at 7:00 pm.

Location: Mount Sinai Hospital, 18th Floor Auditorium
