Child Nutrition Digital Series - A Practical Approach to Pediatric Nutrition

The Child Nutrition Digital Series hosted by the Joannah & Brian Lawson Centre for Child Nutrition and the University of Toronto's Continuing Professional Development is designed to offer physicians and healthcare providers a relevant and comprehensive overview of clinical nutrition throughout the lifespan from infancy to adolescence. The series will consist of ten, one hour-long interactive virtual sessions presented by clinicians and scientists. 

Each session will introduce a key "hot" topic, that will instruct participants on how to talk to their patients about nutrition topics and include key messages and approaches that can be incorporated into their practice immediately. 

Topics will include:

  • Neonatal Nutrition 101 for Providers - Breastmilk, breastmilk substitutes and feeding preterm infants
  • Picky eating
  • Healthy weights
  • Food allergies
  • Iron-deficiency
  • and more!

At the end of the session, each participant will be provided with a 1-page summary.
