Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care (ACPAC) Program
Lead the transformation of arthritis and musculoskeletal care and take the next step in your career. The award-winning Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care (ACPAC) Program prepares experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and chiropractors for extended practice roles in a variety of clinical settings. Application deadline is May 31 annually for the program starting in September.
This competency-based program integrates academic and clinical training over the course of 5 intensive, week-long sessions (2 weeks of hand-on learning on-site in Toronto and 3 weeks of online learning). The comprehensive curriculum focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, triage, and independent management of arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions in both adult and paediatric populations.
Completion of the ACPAC program recognizes your advanced, post-licensure training in arthritis and musculoskeletal care. Our graduates are employed in orthopaedics and rheumatology outpatient clinics, hospitals, chronic pain programs, and rapid access clinics.
