Course Description
T-CAIREM is pleased to offer this 10-week online, instructor-led professional development course. Participants will get the opportunity to deepen their understanding of AI in medicine. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to data science using Python and uses powerful tools to analyze time-series data, process images, train machine-learning models, and create visualizations. By the end of the course, learners will come away with the skills and mindset needed to delve into tasks ranging from speech analysis to image classification. Familiarity with Python is required.
Syllabus
The course consists of 10 weekly, live, instructor-led lectures on Wednesdays from September 23 to November 25 from 6pm to 8pm ET.
Participants are expected to have some familiarity with Python programming. This includes writing programs and functions using basic data structures, such as lists and dictionaries, to manage and manipulate structured data.
We will use Google Colab for most of the lecture materials, in-class exercises, and assignments, as the instructor will explain in the first session. All that is required to participate in the course is internet access and a free Google account.
Participants must complete all assignments in a timely manner to receive a Certificate of Completion for this professional development course.
