Education Vice-Deans Medical Education Related Policies

The Temerty Faculty of Medicine operates in accordance with all policies, statements and agreements as set out by the University of Toronto’s Governing Council. A full listing of all Governing Council documents can be found at http://www.governingcouncil.utoronto.ca/policies.htm.

The Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s Faculty Council is empowered to develop basic documents such as policies, statements, and guidelines which are in accordance with the long-term goals of the Faculty and the University.

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this website. However, in the event of any discrepancies between the policy documents approved by the authorizing committee within the Faculty and the versions published via this website, the former shall be the governing version.

In addition, all statements, standards, procedures, and other guiding documents adopted by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine will be reviewed and re-approved every four years or less by the responsible committee. Review by other relevant committees may also be warranted. The posted version of every document must display the date of initial adoption and the date of the most recent review and re-approval.
