Session Description:
Manifesto of a Critical Consciousness
Movement is one of the things that makes us human, whether it is movement of the body or the slow movement of justice. In this keynote address Stephanie Lurch explores notions of injustice, interconnectedness, personal agency and liberation within the contested space of physiotherapy and the health professions. Using personal stories, art and metaphors, she addresses difficult truths, provokes criticality and urges us to rethink how we live, work, learn and play.
